Welcomes New Members!!
We have
four types of memberships:
ACTIVE:
q
The full-time or part-time head of a municipal police department in Chester
County.
q
The second in command of a municipal police department who holds the rank of
Sergeant or above.
q
A
full-time police officer who holds the rank of Captain or Lieutenant.
q
Chief of the Chester County Detectives and his subordinates who hold the rank of
Lieutenant or above.
q
The Commanding Officer of Area III of the Pennsylvania State Police, the
Commanding Officer of Troop “J” of the Pennsylvania State Police, and the
Commanding Officer of the Chester County Stations of the Pennsylvania State
Police.
q
The full-time Chief of Campus Police and his subordinates who hold the rank of
Lieutenant or above.
q
The District Attorney of Chester County and his First Assistant.
q
A
Sheriff of Chester County and his/her immediate subordinates.
q
The Warden of the Chester County Prison and his immediate subordinates who hold
the rank of Lieutenant or above.
q
The Director of Communications for Chester County.
ASSOCIATE:
q
Any individual recommended by the membership committee and approved by the
majority of the eligible voting members present at the meeting when his/her name
is submitted for membership.
HONORARY:
q
Honorary membership shall consist of all persons who have been active members,
and in good standing, at the time of their retirement from the position that
entitled them to active membership in the association.
LIFE:
q
Any member active or associate who has held membership in the association for 15
years and is in good standing shall automatically be elected to life membership.
